Farmers often have information sitting in different programs that do not communicate. Somebody ends up manually moving the data between them. We build software that does that automatically.

Industry context
Collect once, use many times
AHDB's Farm Data Exchange work describes farmers facing similar data requests from several organisations and platforms. Its 2026 proof-of-concept pilot showed that existing data could be pulled from sources such as cattle-movement databases, processors and feed suppliers, and participants highlighted the potential to reduce administrative effort and duplication by retrieving existing data automatically.
AHDB has also described a successful farm-data ecosystem as one that makes better use of existing datasets, avoids unnecessary duplication and allows farmers to remain in control of how their data is shared. The problem is not only 'more software'. It is duplicated work and disconnected data flows.
