Not everything should be automated

When we will tell you no

If a process happens twice a year and takes ten minutes, bespoke software will not make financial sense, and we will say so. Automation is best suited to repetitive, predictable, rules-based work where the value exceeds the implementation and support cost.

The useful question is not 'how long does it take once?' but 'how often do you do it?'. A 20-minute process performed every working day is roughly 87 hours a year and about 433 hours over five years.

Trust line: if software will not create a genuine practical benefit, we will tell you.
